Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker in Richmond to assist in sales, products, and service activities with the customer service team. The role aims to foster customer relationships, build loyalty, and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities include assisting in basic account openings, resolving service issues, processing transactions, referring opportunities to partners, and supporting branch sales initiatives while adhering to bank policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars and promotional campaigns.
• Adhere to operational controls, regulatory procedures, to safeguard assets.
• Assess risk and escalate issues while upholding ethics and compliance.
