Job summary

The Universal Banker at Citi in San Francisco is an entry level role focused on supporting sales, products and service activities with the customer service team to build loyalty and grow sales to individual consumer clients.

You will assist with basic account openings, deliver service to resolve issues, process transactions, and escalate opportunities to partners while complying with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
• Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch via seminars, micromarketing events, campaigns and product initiatives.
• Adhere to operational controls to ensure safety and security of assets.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations; escalate issues with transparency.

Skills
