Job summary

TD Bank US Chalfont location seeks a Banking Associate to perform everyday banking transactions and educate customers on TD's products and services to help customers achieve their financial goals.

You will open new accounts, process transactions, and deliver proactive, educational support while building trust and ensuring a positive, compliant customer experience in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience working with customers in any capacity
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Teller experience preferred
• Required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Notary License preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location: processing transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers on TD products
• Delivers end-to-end advice: build trust with educational content, provide consultative support, proactive insights
• Utilizes TD’s systems to engage with customers and deepen relationships
• Identifies customer financial needs and refers to appropriate TD partner or expert
• Completes everyday banking transactions on teller line or platform while educating on products
• Serves customers on teller line and platform, including deposits, debit/credit card issues, and digital banking
