Job summary

BMO is seeking a Product Owner for AI & Analytics in the San Ramon area to turn complex business challenges into AI-powered products that enhance how Commercial Banking teams operate, serve clients, and decide. You’ll partner with leaders, data scientists, engineers, and product partners to shape strategy and deliver measurable business value.

Lead discovery, define opportunities, and translate needs into roadmaps and user stories while balancing customer value, risk, and time-to-market.

Qualifications

• Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary education in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, Strategy, or related disciplines.
• Experience translating business requirements into product requirements and user stories.
• Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams.
• Experience in financial services, banking, analytics, data products, digital products, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery teams.
• Nice To Have AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics experience.
• Commercial Banking or Treasury & Payments experience.

Responsibilities

• Own product ownership across AI & analytics initiatives in Commercial Banking.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities, workflows, and user needs.
• Translate business needs into product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Bridge business and technology teams to ensure alignment with strategy and outcomes.
• Champion user experience and measure adoption and business impact.
• Drive delivery from discovery through implementation and continual improvement.
