Job summary

Truist Financial in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a client-focused associate to process transactions and provide outstanding service. You will guide clients through digital banking options, upsell as appropriate, and support the sales process with outbound outreach and referrals.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced branch environment. Regular weekend hours and some travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions and inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
• Support sales through outbound outreach and identifying client needs for referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and ongoing training.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients through meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management; stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution, offering appropriate products.
