Job Summary

We are seeking a Banker / New Accounts CSR for a direct hire opportunity in Pleasanton, CA. This role is ideal for a banking professional with teller, new accounts, and customer service experience who enjoys helping clients choose the right financial products while supporting daily branch operations.

This opportunity offers a professional banking environment with supportive leadership, strong teamwork, and a clear path for growth within branch banking. The role provides exposure to consumer accounts, business accounts, compliance, teller transactions, client relationship building, and cross-selling financial services. Candidates who are service-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to build long-term client relationships will be well positioned for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Open, maintain, and close consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and other account types based on experience level.
• Interview and profile clients to recommend appropriate banking products and services that meet their financial needs.
• Process new account transactions, teller transactions, account documentation, and system uploads accurately and in compliance with bank procedures.
• Cross-sell bank products and services, identify referral opportunities, and support branch profitability and relationship growth.
• Provide courteous, professional service to clients in person and by phone while resolving account inquiries and service needs.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements, information security standards, and internal policies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $20.00 to $31.90 per hour.
• Employment type: Direct hire.
