Job summary

Yourpayrollhr in Erlanger, KY seeks a full-time teller to handle deposits, withdrawals and payments while promoting bank services. You will balance cash, maintain the teller station, and ensure accuracy and compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience.
• Good interpersonal communication and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Must be available to work the required schedule including Saturdays.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to details and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, enters deposits into computer records.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as loans, IRAs, CDs, safe deposit boxes, and money orders.
• Receives mortgage and loan payments and ensures they match balances due; enters payments into computer and issues receipts.
• Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Counts, checks and packages coins and currency.
• Balances cash drawer at end of shift and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Keeps teller station stocked with forms and supplies; reports malfunctions of teller terminals and equipment.
• Checks night depository bags and records information on bank forms.
• Complies with laws, policies, procedures and expectations of the Bank; noncompliance may lead to disciplinary action.
