Job summary

BankUnited in Orlando seeks a Teller/Platform associate to handle a full range of branch transactions and deliver 100% client satisfaction while supporting branch goals. You will process deposits, cash checks, open accounts, and cross-sell Bank products across channels.

Two-week Retail Training in Miami Lakes or Boynton Beach is required for new hires, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after six months of continuous service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of cash handling experience.
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.
• New hires attend a two-week Retail Training Class in FL locations.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount and endorsements.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and balances.
• Enters transactions into computer and issues receipts.
• Promotes Bank products and services; meets sales goals.
• Opens and processes accounts, referring to appropriate business line as needed.
• Balances cash in drawer and reconciles with system totals.
