With a competitive pay rate of **$****16-$18** per hour, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in banking.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Processes deposits, withdraws, and loan payments using teller proof capture systems; corrects misread items and balances/closes transaction batches; issues receipts after verification of amounts, signatures and/or balances.* Balances currency and coins in cash drawer; buys and sells cash to vault to control volume.* Promotes bank's e-services, such as online banking, mobile deposits and e-statements; sells bank products such as money orders and safety deposit boxes; makes referrals to First Neighbor’s investment centers and tax and accounting offices.* Processes and balances electric utility payments, license sticker sales, coin counter, ATM cash and transactions, and credit card cash advances.* Assists with customer inquiries concerning transactions and account information; will involve the CSR Supervisor if second-level support is needed.* Refers customers to CSRs for new account opening or changes to existing accounts.* Answers the phone and transfers calls appropriately; processes phone transactions.## Qualifications## **Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Able to operate First Neighbor business equipment including but not limited to calculators, copying equipment, telephone systems, checking imaging technology, document scanners, shredders, coin machines, and cash counters.
