Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrates accuracy in cash handling and balancing cash drawer.
• Strong customer service and sales skills; able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Processes deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments using teller systems; balances and closes transaction batches; issues receipts after verification.
• Balances currency and coins in cash drawer; handles cash-to-vault transactions.
• Promotes bank e-services (online banking, mobile deposits, e-statements); sells bank products; makes referrals to investment/tax offices.
• Processes and balances payments (utilities, licenses), coin counter, ATM transactions, and credit card cash advances.
• Assists customers with inquiries; refers to CSRs for new accounts or changes.
• Answers phones and transfers calls as needed.

With a competitive pay rate of **$****16-$18** per hour, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in banking.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Processes deposits, withdraws, and loan payments using teller proof capture systems; corrects misread items and balances/closes transaction batches; issues receipts after verification of amounts, signatures and/or balances.* Balances currency and coins in cash drawer; buys and sells cash to vault to control volume.* Promotes bank's e-services, such as online banking, mobile deposits and e-statements; sells bank products such as money orders and safety deposit boxes; makes referrals to First Neighbor’s investment centers and tax and accounting offices.* Processes and balances electric utility payments, license sticker sales, coin counter, ATM cash and transactions, and credit card cash advances.* Assists with customer inquiries concerning transactions and account information; will involve the CSR Supervisor if second-level support is needed.* Refers customers to CSRs for new account opening or changes to existing accounts.* Answers the phone and transfers calls appropriately; processes phone transactions.## Qualifications## **Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
