Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring a Bank Teller to support a Fortune 100 financial institution at the Jacksonville, NC location. The role requires handling cash, advising members on products, and processing standard banking transactions in a full-time, onsite setting.

Qualifications

1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, or banking.
Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
High School Diploma is required.

Responsibilities

Provide members with the full range of banking products and services offered by the client, including checking and savings accounts, certificates, loans, and cards.
Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
Analyze, research, and resolve problems related to member accounts and loans.
Assist members with submitting loan and credit applications.
Counsel members about products and services.
Ensure cash and negotiable instruments are handled properly.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration.
Perform platform banking functions.
