Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred in finance or related field.
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience recommended.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Adobe applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Promptly acknowledge customers with a friendly, courteous demeanor in person and on the phone.
• Listen to customer needs and recommend banking products to meet goals.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments accurately.
• Answer basic questions about service charges and account history, following privacy regulations.
• Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Balance drawers daily and maintain transaction records accurately.
• Participate in promotional activities and branch campaigns.
• Encourage use of banking tools like online banking, ATM, and mobile app.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Report suspicious activity to management; complete required training timely.
