Job summary

Southside Bank is seeking a Full Time Teller at the Whitehouse In-Store location. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and checks with accuracy, while delivering friendly customer service and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive bank data.

You will balance the cash drawer daily, follow policies, and perform cross-sell opportunities. Prior cash handling and teller training are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or the equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Completion and comprehension of Southside Bank teller training courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and change orders with accuracy.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of bank information.
• Deliver courteous service to customers and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Balance cash drawer and follow Teller Over/Short policies daily.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and support branch team goals.
