Job summary

Synergy Bank is seeking a Teller I to handle deposits and withdrawals with accuracy while delivering friendly customer service during 40-hour weeks. You will balance cash drawers, process routine transactions, and assist with bank product promotions.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential. Prior teller or cash-handling experience is highly valued, with opportunities to grow within Retail Sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in customer service
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous Teller experience and retail sales preferred
• Associates or higher in Business or related area of study preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive cash and checks for deposits and enter deposits into records
• Cash checks and process withdrawals with verification
• Balance cash drawer at mid-day and end of shift
• Explain, promote, or sell bank products and services
• Answer phones and provide telephone assistance
• Process transactions such as night/ATM deposits, IRA and HSA contributions
• Complete CTRs accurately and timely
