Job summary

Community Trust Bank seeks a Teller to deliver friendly, accurate service in-branch, handling deposits, withdrawals and cashing checks while promoting bank products. You will follow security rules and balance cash daily, with a focus on compliance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong math and communication skills, solid PC experience, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Training is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good math aptitude and accuracy in cash handling.
• Proficient PC skills and basic software knowledge.
• Ability to use a calculator and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry coinage up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sell and/or refer bank products and services to customers and prospects.
• Demonstrate a helpful, friendly attitude and adhere to Service Quality Standards.
• Receive and handle deposits and ensure proper endorsements.
• Cash checks and process other transactions per policies.
• Follow check handling guidelines and signing authority limits.
• Reconcile cash and daily balance sheets.
• Maintain neat work area and secure confidential information.
• Adhere to security policies and procedures.
• Follow bank guidelines during robbery and ensure compliance with laws.
• Keep up with Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies.
• Ensure actions comply with regulations and bank procedures.
• Perform other duties within the branch as assigned.
