Job summary

Farmers Savings Bank is seeking a customer-focused teller to support daily banking operations at our Wisconsin branches. You will handle teller transactions, assist customers with online banking, and refer clients to appropriate staff for new business opportunities.

You will also promote bank products, maintain accurate records, and travel between branches as needed to provide coverage and exceptional service in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional college training preferred.
• Ability to use computer programs such as Word, Excel and Email.
• One year of previous bank experience.
• Six months of customer service experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to operate standard telephone equipment.
• Knowledge of bank products and basic sales skills.
• Strong problem-solving and listening abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously in lobby and drive-up areas.
• Answer phone professionally and route to appropriate staff.
• Assist customers with teller transactions and verify deposits, cash, and checks.
• Balance cash drawers and compute daily transactions.
• Assist customers with online banking, mobile banking, and debit/ATM questions.
• Cross-sell bank products to potential customers.
• Travel to other branches as needed to support staffing.
• Refer customers to Investment Center for appropriate sales opportunities.
• Maintain customer relations to promote bank visibility and new business.
• Adhere to privacy and safeguarding policies for customer information.
