Job summary

Lytle State Bank is seeking a dependable Bank Teller to handle routine financial transactions and deliver strong customer service at the branch. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to bank policies while ensuring secure handling of funds.

You will verify IDs, balance cash, and resolve basic account issues, with opportunities to assist in opening/closing procedures and other branch duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency with banking software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing).
• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies.
• Verify identification and signatures per policy.
• Detect and report suspicious activity per BSA/AML rules.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
• Assist customers and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean teller station and perform branch duties.
