Job summary

Lytle State Bank is seeking a Bank Teller to serve as the frontline contact for customers performing routine financial transactions. The role requires accuracy, strong customer service, and strict adherence to bank policies to ensure secure handling of funds.

Responsibilities include processing deposits/withdrawals, balancing the cash drawer, verifying IDs, and reporting any discrepancies. The position involves standing for extended periods in a busy branch environment with some Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math/cash-handling accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, checks).
• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies.
• Verify customer identification and signatures per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Detect and report suspicious activity per BSA/AML policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve basic account issues; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized teller station and perform other branch duties as assigned.
