Job summary

Byline Bank in Chicago is seeking a Teller to provide high-quality customer service, process transactions accurately, and support branch operations. The role involves cash handling, promoting bank products, and maintaining confidentiality and security.

Tellers may travel to other branches to assist staffing needs and must follow dress code and scheduling flexibility expectations. Prior cash handling or retail experience is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus at select locations.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and oral communication skills.
Previous cash handling and/or Teller experience preferred.
Previous retail experience preferred.
Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish/English or Polish/English preferred for select locations.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

Interacts with customers to process transactions and provide high-quality service.
Meets or exceeds monthly sales production goals for products and services as assigned by manager.
Ensures accurate cash handling and adheres to cash handling policies.
Maintains customer confidentiality and follows security policies to protect information.
Performs additional duties as assigned and supports branch operations.
