Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, communications, organizational leadership, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or related experience.
• Experience in financial institutions preferred.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple positions/departments.
• Experience conducting candidate interviews with structured techniques.
• Experience using ATS, recruiting tech, and candidate sourcing platforms.
• Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding activities for newly hired employees.

This position partners closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and create a positive candidate experience. The Recruiter serves as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process, ensuring recruiting practices align with bank goals, employment laws, and best practices.

In addition to sourcing and interviewing candidates, this role also represents Blue Sky Bank at career fairs, networking events, community outreach initiatives, and other talent acquisition activities to strengthen the bank's employment brand and talent pipeline.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding support for a variety of positions across the bank.
• Partner with hiring managers and Human Resources to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and workforce planning objectives.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and community outreach.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and skills.
• Coordinate and facilitate the interview process between candidates, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.
• Train and guide managers on the bank's interview standards, hiring guidelines, legal considerations, and effective candidate evaluation practices.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and consistent follow-up throughout the hiring process.
• Represent Blue Sky Bank at career fairs, college recruitment events, networking functions, and community events to promote employment opportunities and strengthen talent pipelines.
• Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting records, and hiring documentation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and hiring effectiveness.
• Partner with Human Resources to support onboarding activities and facilitate a seamless transition for newly hired employees.
• Stay informed on recruiting best practices, labor market trends, and employment regulations that may impact talent acquisition strategies.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience required.

Experience:

• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related experience required.
• Previous recruiting experience within or for a financial institution required.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes for multiple positions and departments required.
• Experience conducting candidate interviews and assessing qualifications using structured interviewing techniques required.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting technologies, and candidate sourcing platforms required.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and recruitment best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong ability to effectively present information, facilitate training, and coach managers on interviewing and hiring practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
