Job summary

Blue Sky Bank is seeking a Personal Banker/Teller to open and maintain consumer and business accounts, provide exceptional customer service, and promote banking products and services. You will support digital banking, assist customers, and help meet branch goals with a strong focus on relationships and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in banking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple computer systems while maintaining integrity and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years banking experience including cash handling and customer service.

As a Personal Banker/Teller, you will serve as a trusted resource for customers by providing exceptional service, opening and maintaining accounts, supporting digital banking needs, and promoting products and services that help customers achieve their financial goals. You will play an important role in building strong customer relationships while supporting branch operations and contributing to the Bank's service culture, Core Values, Mission, and Vision.

What You'll Do

Customer Relationship Management

• Open and maintain consumer and business accounts
• Perform maintenance on existing customer accounts
• Open and maintain deposit and savings accounts
• Build strong relationships through exceptional customer service
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services
• Educate customers on available products, services, and account solutions
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of bank products and services to provide accurate information and guidance

Digital Banking Support

• Assist customers with digital banking products and services
• Troubleshoot digital banking issues and provide support
• Help customers navigate online and mobile banking platforms
• Stay informed on digital banking tools and enhancements

Operational Excellence

• Process account maintenance transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with account-related requests and service needs
• Support branch operational procedures and daily activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established processes
• Collaborate with branch team members to ensure smooth operations

Compliance, Security & Risk Awareness

• Recognize scams, phishing attempts, fraud indicators, and other risks
• Stay current on banking regulations, policies, and security procedures
• Follow operational and regulatory requirements to protect customers and the bank
• Exercise sound judgment while handling customer transactions and account requests
• Help identify and prevent potential losses or fraudulent activity

Teamwork & Branch Support

• Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve branch goals

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of banking experience, including cash handling and customer service
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record, and reliable transportation
