Idaho First Bank seeks a strategic, hands-on Bank Operations Director to lead back-office operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. You will manage a team of operations professionals, oversee core system administration, and coordinate with auditors and regulators.

The role emphasizes risk management, service delivery, and collaboration across branches to sustain operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in bank operations with 3+ years in supervision/management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• Proficiency with core banking systems and MS Office.
• AAP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bank Operations team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
• Oversee daily operations: deposits, electronic banking, wires, ACH, checks.
• Manage core system (Jack Henry) integration with processes and vendor relations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and process improvements.
• Coordinate audits, subpoenas, garnishments, and legal orders as needed.
• Develop and update procedures for new accounts, cash limits, and processing.
• Monitor KPIs and risk metrics; report findings to leadership.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team; establish clear goals.
