Pratt Industries is seeking an entry level Bander Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). The role involves operating the unitizer and related equipment, ensuring proper packaging, tagging, and scanning of units. Starting pay is $20.60 per hour plus shift differential, with a comprehensive benefits package starting day one.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED. Preferred candidates have experience in the corrugated industry, forklift operation, and prior work in Press or Finishing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: corrugated industry experience, 6 months in Press or Finishing, forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the unitizer and related equipment with proper setup and safety.
• Place bands and stretch wrap per setup guidelines and ensure correct unit tagging.
• Scan barcodes on units; maintain correct stacking patterns and unit quantities.
• Operate forklift safely; submit maintenance orders for repairs as needed.
• Adhere to production schedule and report scheduling issues to supervisor.
