Pulse Healthcare Limited is recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join our client’s team at York Hospital & Scarborough General Hospital. This is a full-time, ongoing position with core hours and ASAP start.

You will perform culture, identification and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens, detecting bacterial infections using manual and automated techniques in a busy laboratory service.

Qualificações

• HCPC registration with a Biomedical Scientist background.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent required.
• Experience in Microbiology within a clinical laboratory preferred.
• Experience with culture and sensitivity testing advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
