Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology for a part-time locum role in Gloucester. You will work Wednesday to Friday, performing culture, identification and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens using manual and automated techniques.

NHS experience is preferred and HCPC registration is required. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy laboratory service within a well-established team.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience in Microbiology within a clinical laboratory is preferred.
• Experience with culture and sensitivity testing on enterics, urine, wounds or genitals benches.
