TotalMed is seeking an OR travel nurse (RN) for an operating room assignment in Baltimore, MD. This travel role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN, plus BLS certification. The position involves day shifts, 8-hour blocks, and a 14-week duration with a 40-hour work week.

Travel nurses must be able to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of operating room duties. Immediate start preferred, with pay package tailored to shifts and travel stipends.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and OR staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications in the OR context.
• Monitor patient during surgery and provide post-operative education as needed.
• Coordinate communication between patient families and operating team.
