TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for Baltimore, MD. This travel assignment is 14 weeks long, with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Start date is 10/12/2026 and employment type is Travel.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurses; RN first assistant is welcome. Duties include assisting physicians, preparing instruments, patient care before/during/after surgery, and patient education.

Qualificações

• 1-2 years acute care experience as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• RN front-line assistance may be considered as RN first assistant.
• BLS certification mandatory before assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families and operating room team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed and educate patients and families postoperation.
• Assist physicians and staff before, during, and after surgery.
