Job summary

The Site Food Safety and Quality Manager at Tulkoff Foods Baltimore facility leads the site's food safety and quality management system, ensuring products meet regulatory and customer standards. Reporting to the VP of Food Safety and Quality, you will drive improvements and coach QA staff while partnering with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to deliver safe, high‑quality products on time.

Requirements include a 4‑year degree, 5–7 years QA leadership, and SQF and HACCP certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or related field.
• 5–7 years in food manufacturing QA/safety leadership.
• SQF Practitioner certification required (or ability to obtain within 90 days); HACCP certification required.
• Working knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations, FSMA, allergen management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration; proficiency with quality software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FSQMS and ensure SQF/GFSI compliance across the Baltimore site.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA/USDA and coordinate third‑party audits.
• Oversee QA team, CAPA processes, and root cause investigations.
• Develop HACCP/Food Safety Plans, allergen controls, sanitation and traceability programs.
• Partner with Operations, R&D, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to align quality with production goals.
