Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an Alternate PM to support KITS and our government customer in Baltimore, MD. The role requires leadership following schedule and program instructions.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, organize resources, provide training, and report status to senior management while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of personal computer experience.
• Eight years of experience in a business mailroom, print operations, and/or mail sorting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or successful completion of related programs in data processing and computer operations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Observes, evaluates, and supervises day‑to‑day operations of operators in a lower classification, ensuring production efficiency aligns with daily task objectives.
• Facilitates daily production by communicating directing daily activities, scheduling operator work tasks, and following up on work results.
• Organizes and maintains resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events.
• Prepares and provides guidance to operators in a lower classification by conducting training, providing information, and resolving problems.
• Reports project status to senior management regularly.
• Prepare and communicate effective correspondence in response to administrative inquiries.
