Job summary

The San Diego Padres are seeking a Ballpark Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations at Petco Park, ensuring safety for players, staff, and guests.

You will supervise Ballpark Security Supervisors, Leads, and Officers, coordinate responses to incidents, conduct training, and maintain security logs, all while upholding MLB Best Stadium Operating Practices. This role requires coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services for events and drills.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience supervising on-site security teams and command center operations.
• Experience with security management software Raven Controls and Titan HST.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations 24/7.
• Lead Ballpark Security Supervisors, Leads, and Officers.
• Coordinate event security for Padres games, concerts, and large gatherings.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and event organizers.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and payroll using ABI MasterMind.
• Produce daily shift briefings for supervisors and officers.
• Monitor Avigilon surveillance systems and coordinate incident responses.
• Maintain incident logs, investigation reports, and security audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and BSIS regulations.
