Job summary

San Diego Padres is seeking a Ballpark Security Supervisor (Day Shift) to lead the Security Department in providing top-tier safety for players, staff, and guests at Petco Park.

You will direct Ballpark Security Officers, coordinate daily operations, and act as the Security Manager on Duty (MOD) for small events, ensuring compliance with MLB Best Stadium Operating Practices and department procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must be available to work five 8-hour shifts per week, including weekends/holidays.
• BSIS certification or Guard Card required within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in large public assembly facilities is highly desirable.
• Willing to travel ~10% of shifts annually.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations and 24/7 staffing.
• Lead security officers and coordinate incident responses.
• Maintain incident logs, reports, and audits.
• Coordinate event security for Padres games and large gatherings.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Develop and enforce security protocols; ensure SOP compliance.
• Manage access control, perimeter security, and surveillance systems.
