Job summary

San Diego Padres is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to patrol Petco Park, screen attendees, and control access to restricted areas. You will respond to incidents, prepare detailed reports, and maintain logs with professionalism and confidentiality.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid California security license or ability to obtain within 30 days. Availability for event days is required.

Qualifications

• Maintains punctual and reliable attendance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication with the public.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with CCTV systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol ballpark property in a friendly, professional manner.
• Screen bags and regulate access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Prepare objective incident reports and maintain logs.
• Attend briefings on events and load-ins/outs.
• Greet guests and collaborate with other departments to promote a positive image.
