Job summary

CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches is seeking a friendly Ticket Taker to greet guests, verify tickets, and help guests navigate entry points during events. This role involves standing, walking, and interacting with fans in a fast-paced stadium setting.

The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and a positive guest experience across baseball games and related events. Training is provided, and hours vary seasonally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6–12 months related experience or training preferred.
• Must communicate well, be friendly and approachable, and handle guest interactions professionally.
• Must be able to attend training sessions and events as needed throughout the year.
• Basic computer skills are required; ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Treat fans and guests with courtesy and respect; assist them throughout the entry process to ensure a safe, clean, fun, family-friendly visit.
• Ensure fans have a valid ticket and scan entry at the pedestal scanner for admission.
• Provide event information and general ballpark directions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
