The role requires hands-on ammo experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to work with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Hands-on experience with design and prototyping ammunition.
• Experience with ammunition and firearms is essential.
• Ability to work independently and in a team on fast-paced projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design novel/specialized ammunition products for military and law enforcement applications.
• Conduct and oversee ballistic tests on prototype ammunition.
• Analyze and interpret test data for design improvements.
• Create detailed reports and documentation of results and lessons learned.
• Review ballistics for contracts to assure compliance with specifications.
• Develop and oversee ballistics data acquisition hardware and software.
• Lead or participate in technical deliverables and customer meetings.
