Job summary

Tutu School Pasadena is looking for passionate instructors to lead creative dance classes for young children. Successful candidates will have a strong background in dance and excellent communication skills to engage with students and their families. The role includes leading classes, assisting with retail duties, and maintaining a welcoming studio environment.

We are committed to nurturing the dreams of little dancers and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred.
• High school or equivalent is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 45-minute classes following Tutu School's carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students' families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.
