Job summary

RRD in Durham, NC seeks a reliable forklift/warehouse operator to support print manufacturing waste handling. You will tend machines that shred, compress, and bind paper by-products, and manage bale transportation to storage areas. Daily checks and accurate reporting are required to maintain safe operations.

Ideal candidates have experience with forklifts, banding operations, and basic warehouse protocols. This is an on-site role with standing and manual labor involved.

Responsibilities

• Tend machines that shred and/or compresses and binds paper by-products generated from the print manufacturing process to facilitate disposition of the waste materials
• Thread tie bands around bale and twists or clamps ends of bands to tighten bands
• Opens compression chamber doors and removes bale from machine
• Truck bales to storage location using air lifts, pallet jacks or hoist trucks
• Complete daily forklift condition report
