Job summary

RRD in Quakertown, PA is seeking a warehouse associate to inspect rolls, re-tape wraps, relabel, and prep shipments. You will assist with receiving priorities and verify product integrity for accuracy and damage prevention.

The role calls for a self-starter who can work with limited supervision and follow safety policies. Hours are 3pm–11pm with a $2/hour shift premium and a $1,000 sign-on bonus; base pay ranges from $18.12 to $24.82 per hour, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a printing environment preferred.
• Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect warehouse for unwrapped rolls, missing tappis, damaged rolls and stacking.
• Check, fix and re-tape outer wraps if needed on rolls, relabel, cut down damage product.
• Assist warehouse person as needed to prioritize receiving shipments.
• Inspect paper rolls that you are receiving to ensure accuracy of product being received and not damaged.
• Carton making as needed.
• Ability to be a self-starter and work with limited supervision and complete required tasks on a daily basis.
• Shred printed documents, clean up, sweep floor and aisles throughout your scheduled shift.
• Assist Press service and Material handlers as needed.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
• It is the responsibility of all Solution Delivery employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
• Will train to operate a fork truck, clamp truck, and walker/ryder.

Additional Information

The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $18.12 - $24.82 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus of $1000, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
