Job summary

BakeMark is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow existing accounts and develop new business within the baking industry. The role focuses on executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and delivering exceptional customer service from our Albany, NY area offices and territories in RI, CT, MA, and NH.

You will travel extensively (90–100%); a valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum sales or route sales experience preferred.
• Baking industry experience highly desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales initiatives to capture market share in the baking industry.
• Identify, develop, and secure orders to meet customer needs.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts while pursuing new opportunities.
• Travel within an assigned local territory (90–100% travel; some overnight travel).
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Utilize company systems to manage accounts, track sales activity, and support reporting.
• Perform other duties to support company objectives.
