Job summary

Harvest Moon Baking Co. is seeking a Bake Team Member to produce high-quality bread in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will oversee dough scoring, proofing, oven operation, and quality checks, ensuring products meet appearance, texture, and safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a busy environment. Benefits include health/dental/vision and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move products from proofers to ovens in a timely manner.
• Monitor ovens for proper temperature and bake times.
• Inspect products for quality before and after baking.
• Remove finished products to packaging area.
• Score dough accurately per specifications.
• Monitor production schedules to maintain targets.
• Monitor proofers for temp, humidity, and times.
• Complete production records and documentation.
• Demonstrate safe use of ovens and racks.
• Rotate to other production areas as needed.
• Use PPE properly.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF programs.
• Follow workplace safety standards.
• Adhere to attendance policy.
