Job summary

Maker's Pride is hiring a Machine Operator I for baking on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role focuses on ensuring proper baking and adherence to specifications, setting up ovens, and assisting with changeovers. You will monitor product quality and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities include reading measurements, adjusting dough weight when needed, and coordinating with the mixing supervisor. The position requires good math, dexterity, and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Basic math and reading skills to interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Check production schedule for ovens and products.
• Set up ovens per procedures and adjust as needed.
• Read rulers, scales and temperature controls.
• Perform quality checks and ensure product meets specs.
• Relieve bakers for breaks and assist with changeovers.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow GMPs.
