Job summary

Maker's Pride in Illinois seeks a Machine Operator-Scaler I to stage ingredients per the daily production schedule and operate mixers, ovens, and related equipment in a fast-paced baking environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills for weighing ingredients, GMPs/HACCP knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand most of the shift. Training other employees may be required.

Qualifications

• Must understand GMPs and HACCP practices.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Strong math skills for weighing ingredients and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Weigh dry and liquid ingredients into containers.
• Record weights, ingredient names, lot numbers, and data in logs.
• Operate mixers, ovens, and related baking equipment.
• Complete QA and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
