Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Bakery Trainer 1 for the Cayce bakery to develop, deliver, and maintain training programs that build workforce capability and ensure food safety standards across production lines.

The role focuses on closing training gaps, improving operational performance, and supporting a safe, skilled workforce on the 2nd shift, with hours that may require flexibility for business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience developing, maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Experience supporting training in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and employees across production departments.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, work instructions, certifications, and skill matrices.
• Evaluate associate competencies and certify employees on production positions using training frameworks.
• Identify training needs and skill gaps through audits, observations, and performance assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement using KPI data to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, food safety standards, OSHA regulations and company policies during training.
