General Mills is seeking a Bakery Training Technician to support Walmart bakeries in-store. This field-based role requires 50–60% travel; candidates must live in Tyler or Longview, TX, or be willing to relocate.

You will develop and deliver hands-on product training for bakery associates, build strong store relationships, and manage training schedules across a broad territory. A background in baking and teaching is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years bakery experience; 3–5 years baking, donut and cake decorating in teaching settings.
• Technical baking, donut and cake decorating skills required.
• Ability to train small groups.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% (car provided).
• Self-managed, results oriented, flexible and resilient.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Proficient PC/iPad skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver strategic training and demonstrations.
• Maintain relationships with in-store management and associates.
• Manage territory coverage and training records.
• Conduct hands-on product training in seminar settings with teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
