General Mills is seeking a Bakery Training Technician to support Walmart bakeries as part of the In-Store Fresh team. This field-based role requires 50-60% travel and candidates must reside in the Tyler/Longview, TX area or relocate.

You will develop and deliver hands-on training for bakery associates, build strong relationships with store management, and maintain records while traveling with a company car option. Strong bakery skills and the ability to train groups are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bakery experience 1–3 years; 3–5 years teaching in a bakery setting.
• Technical baking, donut and cake decorating skills required.
• Ability to train small groups.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% and work from a home office.
• Strong communication and influence skills.
• Proficient PC/iPad skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive.

Responsibilities

• Develop & deliver training and demonstrations in Walmart bakeries to improve in-store knowledge.
• Maintain excellent relationships with store management and associates.
• Maintain territory coverage patterns and training records.
• Conduct hands-on product training in seminar settings, collaborating with other suppliers.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
