Job summary

Plum Market is seeking a Bakery Team Member to stock, merchandize, package, and maintain the presentation of baked goods in a fast-paced retail bakery. You’ll support daily operations, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure cleanliness and freshness for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with food handling or merchandising is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong verbal communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable Customer Service in the Bakery department.
• Stock and merchandise bakery displays to ensure a full, fresh, and visually appealing assortment.
• Package and label baked goods accurately according to Plum Market standards.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, backstock organization, and product rotation to maintain freshness.
• Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe workspaces throughout the shift.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and labeling procedures in compliance with company and health department guidelines.
• Assist in building seasonal displays and promotional setups.
• Collaborate with Team Members and leadership to meet daily department goals.
• Uphold all Plum Market policies and standard operating procedures.
