Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a bakery team member to assist with preparing and displaying bakery items, following safety and quality standards. You will interact with members, answer questions, and help ensure a positive in-store experience.

The role involves baking prep, packaging, cleaning, and rotating stock in a fast-paced grocery environment. Availability for regular attendance and adherence to club standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following production information.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays them according to the bakery production chart.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and handling policies.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and surfaces in the bakery.
• Maintains club policies and procedures.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is required.
