Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support receiving and preparing product, maintain bakery area and displays, and assist customers with purchases to uphold WFM standards. Responsibilities include stocking and facing cases, rotating products, assisting with sampling programs, monitoring shelf life, and performing opening, mid, and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Standing/walking for 6–8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Work in temperatures from freezing to hot.
• Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Ensures fresh displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked, front-facing, checking codes, rotating products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas full and appealing.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work/shopping environment and ensures equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing signage accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
