Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly Team Member to support the Bakery team, handling receiving, prep, stocking, and displaying products while selling to customers. The role emphasizes courteous service and adherence to WFM standards, with opportunities to engage on the floor and assist across shifts.

No prior retail experience is required, and you will contribute to a fast-paced environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction. Wage range and benefits accompany the role.

• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers and team members.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and prepared to work; completes required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation and safety procedures; maintains clean working and shopping environments.
