Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support receiving and preparing products, maintain bakery displays, and assist customers. The role involves stocking shelves, monitoring product freshness, and following health and safety procedures to uphold WFM standards.

Team Members must be friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for varying shifts. Prior retail experience is not required, but a proactive approach to customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage; communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full and clean.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
