Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. seeks entry-level Team Members to support the Bakery team. You will receive and prepare products, maintain displays, and sell items while upholding WFM standards. The role covers breaking down deliveries and stocking shelves, with doors open to growth and floor engagement.

Team Members provide friendly service, follow SOPs, and help with various duties as needed. The position emphasizes flexibility, safety, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Passion for natural foods and adherence to WFM standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; front-face, rotate, and remove outdated products.
• Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program; keep area clean and inviting.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready for shifts; attend trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service; use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures on Weights & Measures, health and safety.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment; keep equipment in good condition.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify signs and pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
